Sandy Jones

Sandy Jones was born in London. However, she has spent most of her life in East Anglia. For the last fourteen years she has lived in Wymondham with her husband and growing children.

Sandy has always loved to draw and paint. It was nevertheless, only in 2009 that she decided to turn her hobby into a full time career.

Sandy has undertaken many art projects in the past including painting landscapes, painting flowers on slate and decorative painting in houses. However, the vast majority of her time is now spent on very detailed portrait drawings.

Sandy’s portraits show great depth and always aim to capture the spirit and joy of the subject. Her commissions have included many different animals, as well as people across the age-range.

The portraits are drawn from photographs. Sandy is able to take the photograph herself or to draw from a treasured photograph you already have.
