David Baxter

David Baxter was born in the forties and educated in Norwich. His art tuition at school was with the well known Hamilton Wood, but since then he has been self taught. He greatly admires the work of Alfred Munnings, Arnesby Brown and Edward Seago, East Anglian great artists who all had one thing in common- painting the wonderful Norfolk skies.

He paints mainly in oil and pastel, his work selling extremely well, and is bought by many local patrons.
